This Tribute is supporting Target Ovarian Cancer. So as you all are aware, Alex passed away from cancer. The type of cancer she had was a very rare form of Overian cancer. When it first came about, we never knew until later down the line that all the symptoms she had, pointed to Overian cancer. At the time she was going back and fourth to the doctors and was constantly sent away with medication that had no use and given wrong diagnosis. They thought because of her age, as she was so young, there was no serious action made ragarding scans and cancer checks. Everyday woman like Alex are not given the right checks and made aware of the symptoms for overian cancer until it is too late. This cancer can be so aggressive, it gives the person a very low survival rate. Most people can show no symptoms whatsoever until it has hit the later stages. With this charity, it helps everyone who is going through what Alex did. The money helps with the research and giving them more ways of treating this horrible cancer. In the end, as the type of cancer Alex had was the rarest they have ever seen, tests will be made and she will be able to help them help others who have this awful disease. I ask you all to look more into this charity and if you or someone you know, make sure to push harder for the right checks and do not take no for a answer. The earlier this is caught, the higher the chance of survival. They are an amazing charity, even if it can save one woman it is worth it! It means so much to me that so many of you has followed her story over the past year and that she has made such an big impact on you all.
